Suspicious Person

Hit and Run Witness Statement
The reporting witness receives updated context and can give a fuller account after the driver has been located.
Optional NPCAI Integration
Eligible callout participants receive facts about their role and incident when NPCAI is available. Cryptic Callouts remains playable without NPCAI.
Case-Specific Participant Facts
Suspects, witnesses, callers, victims and responding officers can receive information relevant to what they did or personally observed.
Role-Based Interviews
Participants receive guidance to give detailed, chronological statements while distinguishing firsthand observations from assumptions and dispatch information.
Caller Identity
Participants receive caller-specific facts so people who did not contact police do not incorrectly claim they called 911.
Developing Scene Context
A participant's NPCAI context can be updated as events unfold without discarding their original case facts.
Authored Incident Locations
Pedestrian, road and residential callouts use selected locations across Los Santos and Blaine County.
Separate Residential Properties
Residential scenes distinguish the reported property from the neighbor's property, allowing the caller and reported person to be placed separately.
Generated Configuration
Cryptic Callouts creates CrypticCallouts.ini on first load if the file is missing.
Configurable Interaction Keys
The keys for talking, issuing commands, clearing a scene and manually ending a callout can be changed in the configuration file.

Shared Callout Framework
The 15 callouts from v3.0.0 were rebuilt around shared handling for scene creation, arrival, interaction, pursuits, resolution and cleanup.
Scene Ownership
Peds, vehicles, blips, routes and NPCAI registrations created by a callout are tracked as part of that callout's scene.
Approach-Based Scene Creation
Callout participants are created as the player approaches the dispatch location.
Scene Clearance
When automatic ending is disabled, a resolved scene remains available for investigation until the player clears it.
Pedestrian Placement
Spawn positions are checked for ground height and road surfaces, and participants are kept apart to reduce overlapping spawns.
Residential Caller Placement
Callers are positioned near their own property instead of at the reported property.
Vehicle Placement
The search for vehicle positions expands across nearby streets and avoids placing callout vehicles too close together.
Spawn Distance
The default range was expanded to support authored incident locations across the map.
Default Controls
The default keys are J to talk, K to issue a command, H to clear a resolved callout and End to abort.
Configuration Migration
Applicable older generated key and spawn-distance settings are migrated to the new defaults.
Bank Robbery Placement
The robbery crew is placed outside the bank.
Domestic Disturbance Scene
The incident supports a three-person scene.
Burglary in Progress Outcome
One scenario involves a resident who has been mistakenly reported as a possible burglar.
Road Rage Investigation
The scene uses accounts from the reporting driver and accused driver, with the accused driver's response changing as the investigation develops.
Dispatch Scanner Audio
Scanner audio selection was revised for callout dispatches. Custom audio itself was introduced before v4.0.0.
NPCAI Combat Handling
Actively fleeing or fighting suspects remain under scripted pursuit or combat control instead of being available for NPCAI conversation.
Pursuit Backup Handling
Marked backup can be retried if its officer or patrol vehicle becomes unavailable.

Volatile Pursuit Passenger Gunfire
Restored the passenger's earlier in-car weapon and combat setup. In-game testing confirmed that the passenger now fires from the vehicle.
Volatile Pursuit Passenger Control
The passenger stays out of the LSPDFR pursuit while seated and joins it after leaving the vehicle, allowing their in-car combat behaviour to operate.
Hit and Run Vehicle Placement
Expanded the search for a usable road position after a vehicle spawn failure was observed.
Partial Scene Duplication
A scene that fails during creation is no longer recreated every frame, preventing duplicate peds and vehicles.
Scene Error Reporting
Scene creation errors are logged, and the callout remains available to end manually.
Unsupported NPCAI Moods
Mood descriptions such as Concerned, Calm, Shaken and Upset are mapped to supported NPCAI values to address repeated mood errors.
NPCAI Interview Continuity
A participant's original case facts are retained when later events update their context.
NPCAI Registration Timing
Registration is retried and context updates are queued when NPCAI is not ready as a participant spawns.
NPCAI Context Cleanup
A participant's context is removed when their conversation is suspended or the callout ends.
Scene Cleanup
Cleanup of callout-owned peds, vehicles, blips and routes was improved when a callout ends or is declined.
