Cryptic Emergency Traffic

Cryptic Emergency Traffic has been rebuilt for LSPDFR. This update replaces the previous NPC driving-task system with GTA’s emergency-vehicle yielding behaviour during normal responses. During LSPDFR pursuits, it suspends the broad yield request and applies a temporary speed limit only to selected civilian vehicles, excluding known pursuit suspects, emergency vehicles and persistent vehicles. It also adds separate Code 2 and Code 3 settings, optional diagnostic logging, custom emergency-model recognition and automatic INI generation.

Automatic Configuration Generation The plugin now creates CrypticEmergencyTraffic.ini in plugins\LSPDFR when no configuration file exists. Older configurations using the previous [Response] format are backed up before the new INI is generated.
Separate Code 2 and Code 3 Settings Code 2 and Code 3 can be enabled and tuned independently. Each has its own minimum response speed and pursuit civilian-response settings.
Pursuit Civilian Response During an active LSPDFR pursuit, the plugin can temporarily limit the top speed of eligible nearby civilian vehicles. It restores each vehicle’s previous top-speed setting when the response ends or the vehicle is no longer eligible.
Custom Emergency Models A comma-separated model list lets users identify additional emergency vehicles with a GTA siren. The vehicle must support GTA’s emergency-vehicle behaviour for native yielding to take effect.
Diagnostic Logging An optional Debug setting records whether the plugin is responding and why yielding is suspended, including pursuits, traffic stops, inactive lights and response-speed thresholds.

3
Rebuilt Traffic Handling Normal Code 2 and Code 3 responses now use GTA’s emergency-vehicle yield control. The plugin no longer assigns or clears NPC driving tasks to make traffic react.
Pursuit Protection The broad yield control is suspended during pursuits because it cannot exclude a fleeing vehicle. Pursuit civilian response filters out known LSPDFR suspect vehicles, emergency vehicles and persistent vehicles.
Traffic Stop Behaviour The plugin suspends its yield request during an LSPDFR pullover or while the player’s vehicle is below the configured response speed. GTA remains responsible for routing traffic around a parked cruiser.

Fixed

2
INI Location Configuration generation now resolves the GTA V game folder from the running game process, so the INI is written to plugins\LSPDFR even when LSPDFR loads the plugin assembly from memory.
NPC Driving-Task Interference Removed the task replacement and task clearing that could interfere with fleeing suspects, pursuing units and other plugins controlling NPC drivers.
